    However, Netanyahu expresses it very well when he says that Palestinians reject a Jewish Israel within any borders. Abbas just manipulates the "peace process" to try and get free concessions. The US and EU are naive dolts who take Abbas seriously although they will not abandon Israel. Peace is in the hands of the Palestinians but they cannot bear to do it. They try to cover up their rejectionist position to maintain Western support. The Haaretz focus on Israel is misplaced. Netanyahu and Israel are not the problem.
