If the Israeli left wants to be revitalised then there is a waya of doing it.... they need to offer the public what they want. At the moment the right are offering what the public want and they are being embraced for it whilst the left don't change their policies and just moan. In democracy you need to give the people what they want not an ideology. Just because these 2 guys have doctorates doesn't make them the left wing Moses who are going to bring the left into the promised land of political dominance. They are just a couple of nobodies with degrees and egos who overestiate their importance in the world. If they want to get elected to the Knesset then they will have a voice otherwise they will just be another one of the protestors at the next rally because that will be the full extent of their influence .. go back to Stanford guys there you will find a larger audience because degrees don't make people want anything to do with you in this part of the world.

Why U.K's Labour Party won't confront Muslim anti-Semitism

Too many Labour politicians cravenly adopted the anti-Semitic tropes and anti-Israel demonization they think will get them British Muslim votes, rather than standing up to the prejudice that exists in the community.
