Reform Jewish instiutions in Israel are indeed working to address the problems that the rabbi speaks about. And really now, the "more liberal lifestyle" predates any Reform Jewish influence in Israel by at least two generations. The rabbi might be better off welcoming the partnership of Reform and Conservative and all other Jews who are working for a better and socially stronger Israel, just as he presumably is. .
