As long as there is free land for the taking and Israel gets away with taking it, this will remain the top priority. Israel has not tried to hide this fact. Esentially, the Israeli officials say, "Don't pay attention to what we do. Pay attention to what we say". Surprisingly, this has worked, not just once, but over and over again. It is really no wonder that the Israelis are viewed as arrogant when the rest of the world acts like complete fools. The power to make peace lay in the hands of America and the world. Isolate Israel. Impose sanctions. Cut support. Wait a few minutes. Job done. All the other usual circus of idiocy that accompanies peace talks is really not necessary. It isn't even necessary to talk with Israel. In fact, it is better just to take the action unannounced. Israel will get the idea very quickly.

Israel's angry, bitter left must reclaim the language of hope

We leftists whine and complain, we only talk about how bleak and hopeless life is in Israel. We alienate all those Israelis whose support we need to bring political change.
