Marcus uses the emotionally charged (for Americans anyway) Vietnam analogy to make his point. Since Marcus seems to be confused as to his nationality or at least feels the two countries are so similar as to be equivalent, I'd like to pick his brain as to what he thinks would happen if Mexico were to bombard Texas on a daily basis. Does anyone think America would be so spineless as to heed the calls of aghast Europeans concerned for the Mexican's welfare? Mexico would be militarily brutalized within hours at the least or made molten at the most. No self-respecting Texan would live under Mexico's rockets without going to war beyond a few days let alone YEARS. Yoel, remember that next time you compare Israel to the US. What Israel puts up with no American state ever would.
