For the last 38 years, the IDF was turned from a professional army to an army of occupation, at the command of settlers. the IDF is no longer the kind of army that won wars for Israel but an army that supports, encourage the settlers in stealing the property of others, stealing and destroying farms and public property. I am sure veterans of wars will see the drastic change in the mission of the IDF. The occupation and the policy of ever expanding settlement has changed the Israeli army to an army of ideologs and army of extremist, no different from the army of the Talibans. Over the years, we have seen the IDF turned into an army similar to that of the old German and Soviet armies and of course the Talibans, it is the Jewish Taliban. The politicians of Israel has turned the army to a pawn and certainly misued such an army. Shame on Israel, and shame on the IDF for accepting such misuse.
