Obviously I have no idea about the Prime Minister's intentions, and I do not know the legal or political implications either. But I think this question about the "Jewish State" is more important for Jews, Israelis than to the outside world. Jews have been scattered all over the world for thousands of years and many of us do not know what is that connects us together. What does it mean to be a Jew? What does it mean to be an Israel? I think these examinations are very important and necessary, as we have to find the threads that are connecting us over all the differences, arguments and hatred that is separating us. We need national unity in order to solve all the problems facing Israel and Jews now and in the future.
