Ibrahim, you cannot fight a 'war' against terrorism. To do so is to play directly into the hands of the terrorists. The British started losing the war to keep the Palestine Mandate when they failed to maintain law and order in 1920, 1929 and in 1936. They lost it when they started destroying whole villages and sacking Kibbutzes in search of weapons. It was not the Revisionists who forced England out of Palestine. It was the English response to the action of both Arab and Jewish terrorists which turned BOTH populations against the British. In 1939 the majority of both Jews and Arabs wanted Great Britain to supply security. It supplied insecurity instead.
