But how the heck those guys got taken with the same kind of operation that had succeeded just two weeks before is more than random error. When patterns of bad intelligence, and worse preparedness appear, they need to be addressed. The problem is happening at a level above the common soldier, and it would appear it is rooted at the top. A once magnificent organization is making an awful lot of silly - and tragic - mistakes. "The real question: Is this what Israel wants? Continuous low level warfare indefinately? " - Ibrahim It would seem so. But aside from occasional major wars, that is all Israel has known. Better the devil you know than the what you don't know I guess.
