    ...that he thinks he has some sort of moral high ground. One would suspect a European, in which case he'd be part of the crowd who think that Europe's newfound pacifism somehow absolves them of more than a half a millenium of worldwide "brutalization" of non-white folk, including the near-extinction of many peoples in the Americas. Or perhaps from a non-western country, in which case he should probably focus on the way that governments in the developing world fight plenty of brutal and illegal wars, both with each other and, more often, against their own people. Essentially, unless you're from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or some small Pacific island, your country is guilty of something horriffic (and those places aren't quite saint-like either), and you, sir, are the hypocrite. The declarations of America as some kind of evil force in the world have truly become tired and pathetic.
