I do not believe there is hatred of the concept of a Jewish state. In fact there is admiration for what was achieved there in a relatively short period of time. The problem is the relationship between the governments of Israel, i.e., the state's representatives and the rest of the world. There is a pervasive notion that these feel entitled, that they play the victimhood card while victimizing others. That the state, or its representatives always lie about what it is doing and what it really intends to do. That the state or its representatives play one-upmanship and tries to get away with it. Reaching a peace agreement with the Palestinians will go a long way to improve relations with the world at-large.
