A few months ago I saved a photo of a protester in Switzerland holding a small camera and being sprayed in the face with mace through a locked gate and heavy police barricade. The protester was no aggressive, was alone, and presented 0 danger to the heavy clad police. So does the extreme violence of the Swiss police justify a very painful hit to the face by an IDF officer? Of course it doesn't. The point here is that not even 1/1000th of attention will be called to the Swiss incident. The existence and the philosophy of the Swiss state will not be called into question. And compare the situation: here the demonstrators are provocateurs intent on illiciting this kind of anger and overreaction. When Jews like no other people are forced to constantly justify why they are a life deserving a life; when they are put into impossible situation of having to defend themselves against billions of sublimely pernicious and devious radicals why should anyone be surprised to see a natural response: lashing out.
