But my reasons are as straightforward as the motivation of most of the people. They want freedom and an opportunity to live a tranquil and reasonable life. All people deserve that. As to Israel's "excuses", you have have failed to put your finger on Israel's strategy. Let's put it this way. There is only one way to move the Arab world. Its not to kill their people, though this is just as devastating to their families and their nations as it is to Israel. But the difference is the concept and genuine and deeply held belief in martyrdom. People are martyrs but land is not. The latter is THE pressure point, especially since land has religious significance for Arabs. And don't forget, Israel has been willing to give up land it has captured in exchange for peace, even a very, very cold peace.
