    Rejection of knowledge outside of traditional religious studies is a rejection of the universe. That is hardly the act of the "humble". In fact, it's the arrogance of the narrow minded. Cheap jeering at "Hellenists" does not make them less narrow minded, but more so. And campaigning against studying Euclidian geometry just makes them look utterly ridiculous. There is nothing Jewish in rejection of knowledge and refusal to study the universe.
