most north american jews are quiet ignorant about israeli politics. they mythologise israelis and what ever any israeli pm says or does is good for israel and the jews. the right are very clever in creating an atmoshere of antisemitism which now makes everything an existential issue-democracy, human rights and so on disappear when you are fighting for your existence. they have turned obama into antisrael even though he is probably the president that cares most about israel because of his strong jewish ties. he has probably been to mor barmitzvas than many us jews. playing the antisemitism card is dangerous because it is self fulfilling as we already see most of the world turning away from israel. it works beautifully because bibi can now confirm that the whole world hates us and this justifies his cowardly actions as the do nothing pm.
