This article is not entirely honest. Yes, force was not used agaist us for the most part (I was there as a protester). However, when we discuss this we must be entirely honest with ourselves. Force was used when it was needed. There was an incident at the gate where numerous people were beaten, and there was another incident where some protesters tried to block cars, and police again used violence to a less extreme level. The reality was that on that last march, we choose to go peacefully. Call it a plice victory if you want, but the reality was that the protestors decided to go peacefully mainly because yesha told us to do so. This definitely will not work in all situations like this author seems to think, but I do think the police could go a long way in being less brutal.
