In all presently running criminal investigations of Israel?s Prime Minister Ehud Olmert exists a central question as basis = political corruption in one way or another. A mighty weight of possible accusations upon summing up presently known results to throw light upon actions under investigation. PM Olmert unfortunately has to look back over ?older / historic investigations etc, where from he emerged without indictment despite certain critics upon his action. This covers his public long life as member of Knesset, Mayor of Jerusalem etc. He has shown himself as a person who is able to use all means and tools at his disposal to ?get out under tough situations.? A prototype of ?tough Israeli politician of intelligence? who survived political storms /upheavals so far???.. ! Bank Leumi case was / is at the moment the first round of by AG ordered criminal investigation with its officially announced first two Olmert?s personal questioning sessions under warning. ? Hardly these police procedures for Bank Leumi case finally came under the way , when the AG sanctioned and ordered additional possible investigations, in different unconnected suspected criminal actions. So far everything connected with possible corruption which one may interpret as cronyism, nepotism, graft etc which are covered which are accepted under expression of political corruption. Next item on the internal / political PM Olmert responsibility comes the Lebanese war with its expected final Winograd Investigation report. Already the part time, published investigation reports called PM Olmert?s performance / decision a failure. Any leading executive in private or public companies can fulfill his duties / expectations only on being carried by ?trust and confidence in his abilities and decision power! Prime Minister?s office is most probably the highest rank / position of any executive?s type! - The moment this unrestricted trust is endangered or disappeared the same executive has no longer any justification basis whatsoever to retain his position as he definitely became an undiscussable liability.
