    he came with an olive branch in one hand and a gun in the other. the funny thing about this quote, one does not walk into another person's home with an olive branch and a gun, and expect the home owner to take the olive branch. the gun being present in the equation implies an intent of hostility. olive branch or not. had the early zionists arrived with olivebranches in both hands, palestine and israel would be one state today, living happily together. arabs are known for their hospitality to guests. its the gun in the other hand that ruined everything. netanyahu today comes to palestinians with a baseball bat in one hand and a gun in the other, please correct me if im wrong. the only thing palestinians got from netanyahu was a few months of halted settlement building, there was never any intent of further extending the halt, it was a gesture to impress the americans.
