Of 99% of the people who responded to this article, a complete load of rubbish. I grew up in South Africa. Mr Kasrils should know the main opposition to the Nationalist Party was the Progressive Party, led by a Jewish lady, Mrs Suzman. Mr Kasrils is probably proud of the anti Israel pro palestinian deplorable meeting held in Durban a few years back. Mr Kasrils should also know that their is a growing rise of anti Semitism in SA, led by the Muslim community in the Cape. And as others have eloquently pointed out, there is no comparison between the treatment of the oppressed blacks under the old regime in SA, and the treatment of Arabs in Israel. Funny I don't see these Arabs leaving Israel for other Arab countries. Finally the palestinians have had many chances for peace. Israel has a right to proctect herself. If Israel wanted, it could blow Gaza out of existence. Its response to the constant terror is totally disproportionate,ie not enough force is used.

For Netanyahu, hatred of Arabs is a matter of policy

Netanyahu is balking at nothing in his holy war against 'the Arabs.' He’s turned the government, the Knesset and the legislative process into a sad joke, hitting rock bottom with a bill to expel Israeli Arab lawmakers.

This Valentine's day, celebrate not love, but the sublime bond of friendship

Friendship is free of the indignities, suffering and drama that characterize romantic love; it doesn't have an expiration date; we rarely suspect it to be a figment of our imagination. But love is what fuels our economy.
