when my Jewish friends visit Turkey and Turks find out that they are Jewish, they will not be treated discourteously as often as has been the case over the last several years. There is as much intrinsically wrong with Jews as there is with Turks. In short, a little respect and kindness will go a long way. I have booked a trip to Spain and Israel this spring. It would have been Turkey and Israel had there been tranquility between the countries. I do hope things endure and that my wishes about decent treatment of Jews in Turkey materializes. If that hapens, I'd be delighted to visit a fascinating and beautiful country and spend my hard earned dollars in Turkey.
