...i'm not even a believer but I fully agree with this column. It would be nice to have my orthodox cousin actually talk to my non-orthodox parents and family, it would be nice to feel respect and acceptance from the orthodox world I meet rather than contempt, it would be nice to hear positive things about _and_ from my Jewish brothers and sisters. Every week I feel that the religious are messing up Israel and it's an unnecessary barrier to me visiting and supporting and hey, doing a mitzvah or two more.
