Mr. President, As a former supporter of your Presidency, I am bewildered by your opposition to the Palestinian request for statehood. I can no longer support you because of your statements in Cairo that were only words. The struggle for freedom is and always has been our basic beginnings. It was England who we fought and beat that brought this country to what it is today. The U.S. has helped many other countries for their independence. The United States is strongly supporting the independence of Palestine. I know that you are concerned only for the Jewish financial support. That is contrary to why you are President. If you don't look out for freedom for other countries it would be disgraceful that our leader is handicapped and not doing what is in the best interest of the U.S. Daily, I read the Haaretz comments from people all over the world, sir, I am ashamed as to how they feel about our country and especially our President. The Israeli's have held the Palestinians hostage for over 60 years. Sir, that was before you were born.If you veto this resolution I can no longer feel that you are the right man for this job. Finally, if you continue this road of supporting settlements, the destruction of olive trees, checkpoints, abuse thousands of woman and children being held in jail and I might add inhumanly. I believe that you are not worthy of the Nobel peace prize and should return it to someone who has earned it.
