The results suggest Iran's next parliament will be more supportive of President Rohani's drive for economic reforms, but conservatives will remain a powerful force.13:31 30.04.16 | 0 comments
I was an officer in the regular IDF and Miluim and came to the realization that young people are (by and large) being asked to die for corrupt and morally wrong politicians and ideas. Many (but unfortunately not all) of Israel's wars could have been avoided and soldiers do not have to die defending the occupation in the West bank. So rather than continue being cannon fodder and not wanting to let my children become cannon fodder, I and my wife elected to leave Israel in the 80s. I look back on my decision and the progression of events in Israel and am VERY happy with my decision. We just miss friends and the social scene, but do not miss the fear and tension of living in Israel.
