If Bibi and co are dumb enough to bomb Iran, I hope the US stays clear and calls on "all parties to refrain from escalating a dangerous situation". Everyone knows Israel can not stop Iran's nuclear program. It can only dent it. And by doing so it strengthens the IRGC and Khamenej. This will likely lead to an accelerated program. Also Iran could retaliate against Israel with missiles from Iran, or if Hezbullah is willing, their missiles from Lebanon. If the US stays out this might be contained. But if the US comes on Israels side, the Persian gulf is likely to be closed for a long time. Not good for the world economy. Best option is to let Iran and Israel fight it out alone. Having seen the last few years of Bibi Obama relations, I don't see Bibi taking any notice of Obama. If he wants to attack, he will.
