    She is old and getting senile. She is obviously prejudiced regardless of what she says in denial. Israel has more than a right to exist - it has an obligation to exist as the nation state of the Jewish People to protect the few remaining Jews from the despicable persecution they have endured for millenia. It is very directly the fault of ignorant, bigoted idiots like Helen Thomas. Her parents were Arab immigrants to America from Lebanon. That is OK with her but not Jews emigrating to Israel. Today, most Israeli Jews were born in the middle east. Morons like Helen find will always find ignorant folks to agree with her bigoted sentiments. And yes, Jews may have disproportionate influence relative to their small numbers, but they have also made hugely disproportionate beneficial contributions to the welfare of humanity. Old Helen is clearly no Einstein.
