Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. (1) I accept that did not make it available to a mass audience but it was also not a blanket boycott. (2) I doubt that amongst the Palestinians "the ideology of violence, intolerance and repression toward women" is any greater than it is within Israel. It is male, religious extremists who - if anyone - will think like this and there is nothing to indicate - at least in the West Bank - that it is any more prevalent there than in Israel.
