The title is a bit facetious because there was never a debate on who won the war. Maybe a few Zionists entertained delusions of victory but outside of Israel, there was never debate that Hizbullah defeated the mighty Israeli army. I think it's fantastic news when failure brings down a war criminal and hopefully soon, inshallah, Olmert and his entire clan of misfits end up the way of Halutz or Sharon. I say bring back Mofaz as defense minister. We have a score to settle with him now that his former boss Sharon and his underlings Halutz met the hand of justice, he is next. He will be perfect leading the disasterous charge against Iran. Let's see Mofaz battle an army for a change. He gained his medals targeting Palestinian kids and women but let's see him fight a real army. Halutz will forever be known for as the pilot who dropped a 1 ton bomb on a apartment building in Gaza that killed 12 kids and left dozens injured--and the bombing of Lebanese civilians. What is clear, regardless who is or who becomes the next defense minister, Israel will find a disaster waiting if it attacks Iran. The Armageddonites would be loving this scenerio. Halutz was pushed out because Zionists lost confidence in him that he can take on Iran. America and Israel are both on a war footing and preparing an attack on Iran. Both countries are shuffling their top brass for this upcoming war. Bush and Olmert can shuffle the deck all they want, the question is, are they UP TO THE TASK? lol Olmert has Lebanon on his resume and Bush has Iraq. We live in interesting times. The perfect storm for the greatest blunder in modern times is just a few months away.
