I've been watching this perverse dance for over 40 years. Both sides dance the Bolero until they get close enough -- to pee on each other. Enough. Really. I'm an Israeli combat vet, a "peacenik..." and someone who wants to see my family in Israel live to the next generation. If President Obama wants to see peace in the Middle East, he's got to make a decision vis-a-vis his "trusted ally." Allies are not blindly followed, and the United States would serve its interests poorly if it followed its lead of the 80s and 90s and supported corrupt regimes. Israel is a nuclear power. Iran is the villain. That's about all the simple statements we can make. If Israel wants to have peace, they're going to HAVE to "give up" land that is only sparsely populated by fanatics (on the Jewish side). Shut off ALL aid until Israel _REALLY_ ceases development throughout the West Bank. Tell IBM, Intel, Coke, Pepsi, AMD and everyone else to cut off all aid. Nothing. No guns, no bullets, no corn, nothing.
