    I do really sympatise with the plight of Isareli Arabs... It is true that their parents sided with the Arab armies attacking Isarel, and many supported the Mufti ( a Nazi).. however the children do nopt inherit the parents guilt! Moreover, I understand they must be thorn... one the one side they have their need to cling to their community's self immage and historical sense.. which is under severe stress by the modern world that come upon them.. They need a sense of self worth which they seek in their real or imagined history... which needs to be made palatable even if is distorted... And on the other hand there is this modern country .. emmerging arround them... with a mayority population that they see as foreign.. and that is operceived as a threat.. if only because they do not see themself prepared toplay important roles in this enterprise... Even though the situation is hitorically very different.. their feeling is similar to that of those societies overuned by
