'We came here to feel safe. Now my children refuse to walk to school alone, just like they did in Paris,' French émigré says after twin attacks in Ra'anana.13:27 13.10.15 | 9 comments
in light of the anti Israel and anti Jewish remarks by some Arab leaders and even MKs, Leiberman is just responding to those fears. As to native arabs v immigrants. There are many Arab towns in Israel that are equally not native, settlements from conquests, There are many Egytian settlements in the land settled by the Pasha Ibrahim Ali, with his conquering army in the 1830s. So using the immigrant /native line can backfire- we all know the history far better. Unfortunately many Arab youth are fed this line. Not all Arabs are native, this minister's home town has such history. Leiberman is a immigrant Jew that's all. I understand the sentiment of Leiberman though I do not agree with his politics and ways. There are not limited to him and so is racism, we see it more and more from the arabs.
