This is conceptual thinking rather than sensible or politically astute thinking. Why not let him in and make the point that when the shoe was on the other foot, Jews were never let into the WB or even Arabs who sought to promote peaceful co-existance. Minimally, one would expect a rationale for the decision. At the end of the day, this sounds stupid and mean spirited and I say that as an Israeli supporter with the continued conviction that the Pals are barbaric Jew haters who would like nothing better than, to act out their religious and ideological marching orders, of terminating Jews. I expect and demand smarter and morally better behaviour from Israel and generally get it. Perhaps I'm missing something but I don't know what it is. Overwhelmingly, I am happy to support Israeli actions because from my vantage point they are justified by the notion of self defence. I can't find a legitimate rationale here but Im all ears.
