I think it's important to put this in perspective. Remembering the Shoah doesn't take away at all from the other tragedies you mentioned. The thing that separates the Shoah from the 25 million Russian War dead is that the Jews were singled out because they were Jews as opposed to being killed in battle - a big difference. The Armenian genocide and Hitler's genocide against Gypsies does however have the same dimension of tragedy as the Holocaust. Deir Yaseen was a war tragedy not a systematic and efficient liquidation of a people.
