I started here on Haaretz years ago as an idealist and leftist. But as you go along if your eyes are wide open you can get clarity bit by bit.I still want peace and I still want a fair and reasonable peace.I am totally pragmatic when it comes to a solution. But I think many people are fooling themselves about these peace overtures right now. Tosefta has an idea.I by the way think its great. It makes sense except for one thing. He discounts the Palestinians in this whole thing. He believe because we have no control over the Palestinians that we should take total initiative and responsibility to create a solution.I totally dissagree.I think that the Palestinians should and their helpers should understand their own responsibility in this situation. The Palestinians are like Welfare recipients. They want, they want and they want but they are not prepared to give. The Israelis are like a corporation.Need I say more. The Palestinians can use the silent majority here if they do the right things.
