I was a kibbutznik for a year. I am a labor Zionist; I am not a religious Zionist. I now live in Philadelphia's Chinatown. This election is about reproductive freedom, the 1st Amendment, science and universal health care. I am not a one issue voter. When I was in Anchorage for the Iditarod, a minister in the Anchorage AoG said to me "Auschwitz was divine retribution because you people have refused to accept G-d's only son." A parishioner with him told me Jewish people "deserve to suffer." I will remember that every time I go into the voting booth. I would not vote GOP for dog catcher. I am fed up with the anti-science, anti-intellectual, anti-education evangelicals/fundies. They are no different than the Afghan Taliban. I have to live with them; you don't.
