To Israeli Peres: let me be blunt, you are naive., but not alone with respect to how this 100 year old conflict can end. You see peace coming from Israel vacating ALL the settlements, and decease their abuse of the Palestinians. Unfortunately, sitting 11,000 miles away and from my safe perch, I am convinced the 500m Arabs will NEVER be satisfied with a Palestinian West Bank and Strip mini-country, at peace with Israel. And this is the rub, Mr. Peres, their words, deeds, actions and outright admissions, describe their goal, the destruction of your country. Therefore, why the dilemma? Hamas, Hezbollah, Jihadists throughout the area, Syria, Iran, Saddam's people in Iraq, the Saudis...they all want one thing, Israel. This is the reality, not your blurred vision of a so-called two state solution. Israel left the Strip, hoping to promote peace, and it got what in exchange? Hezbollah shows flags along your border, boasting of it's enhanced might. Iran's nukes loom. Get real!
