The process of forming Kadima, after the ousting of Sharon by unfortunate cause, was done too quickly and not fully overthought. We have here the consequences now. ALthough I endorse destroying Hezbollah and Hamas, I have never believed in unilateral withdrawl. I know Sharon had to do something, but you cannot succeed completely if you shut down all dialogue. ANother point of attention is the prisoners. No doubt 99% of the Pl and Lb prisoners in IL jails are taken as prisoners for the right reasons, but you have to give them a trial and not in all cases this was done. I think IL should review and make a balance on who is improsened and why and then make a new decision on whethter this is just. This has nothing to do with Hezbollah, it should have been done long ago.

A milestone birthday is as good an opportunity as any for a midlife crisis about the Middle East crises.
