The unfortunate deaths of the innocent Palestinians that were killed when the IDF took out Shehadeh lies entirely on the shoulders of the Palestinian Authority ? as do any other innocent deaths that occurred as a result of Israeli targeted killings. According to the Oslo Accords and subsequent agreements, the Palestinian Authority was responsible for enforcing law and order in areas under their control. When it came to arresting known terrorists, however, they refused to do this. For years the Israelis, Americans and others begged them to lock up the radicals, but as the Israeli body count grew as a result of suicide bombings and such, Israel finally had to do what any country is supposed to do: protect the lives of its citizens. That is where targeted killings came into play. For all of you Israel haters: In your zeal to jump on Levy?s bandwagon, you totally forgot to even make a perfunctory condemnation of Arab terrorism.
