Three points of dissent, including whether Israel will be able to control the broadcast and where the cameras will be situated, could lead to new tensions over flashpoint site.04:55 07.02.16 | 0 comments
First off: 17, you're really bad at quoting. I don't know how you did it but you managed to turn "most religious rites are tolerated" into "most religion are tolerated". Anyway I trust you understand that with all the crazy stuff that various religious people come up with there occasionally are rites (or possibly the entire religion itself) that are fundamentally incompatible with a democratic society. To put it into context: someone might argue that he is a devout National-Socialist and that his antisemitism must be protected or that human sacrifice is an integral part of his religious belief and that thus laws banning murder do not apply to him. Naturally there can be no right to such practices.
