Lakshmi, my expectation from Hamas is that once the people approve a peace deal they will accept the facts of life and accept peace, not hudna. So far, they seem to have been moderating along such a line. I wouldn't be happy to give actual assets for a hudna. I would be willing to accept a hudna "until the Mahdi shows up", which amounts to "forever" in Jewish tradition. Wouldn't mind if Hamas actually expects the Mahdi to really come...
