You will ask the heads of the top Israeli papers to lean towards the right-wing, right? You will explain your political position and they will understandingly close their papers, am I following you? It is stunning how many of the most fascist Israeli leaders and VIPs come not - as one would expect - from the former soviet union with its authoritarian mentality, but from the US. And why should papers represent political views of the population per capita? Are they elected along with the government? Israel's population today is predominantly national or religious supremacists or a peculiar admixture of both. I admit that changing the political orientation of the papers is simpler than re-educating all this blue-white-shirt mass. Nineteen thirties provide an ample historic precedent to it.
