'I accept that the comments that Ken Livingstone has made make it more difficult for Londoners of Jewish faith to feel that the Labour Party is a place for them,' says mayoral candidate Sadiq Khan.03:33 02.05.16 | 0 comments
So Bradley thinks we should be hopeful and patient with Israel even though it is - in HIS opinion - the equivalent of 1840s America. Wonderful! I guess he assumes that in only another 172 years things will be just fine for the Palestinians, if they are patient enough to endure what happened to the American native population before and since 1840. Thanks but no thanks, Bradley! As to Israel's right to exist, please rephrase that to 'right to exist in its present form' and ask yourself: Did the American South have the right to continue to exist in its racist form? Clearly not. And do we have the right to tolerate an 1840s style racist colonial state being subsidized by the American tax payer and shielded by American politicians? Again: clearly not. Boycott is nonviolent and can do to Israel what it did to South Africa's racist regime - change it and make it conform to international law. Please remember that Norm F. said that he supports BDS. So should you. It's the form Israel takes that is the problem and the cause of BDS. So stop whining and have the courage to support the boycott of Israel until it conforms to international law.
