Fascinating article. So the transfer of people who claim to be Jewish from Ethiopia to Israel was actually the pet project of some Americans who had some strange ideas that they wanted someone else to pay for. Interesting. I seriously doubt that these people are or ever were Jewish. And I'm not the only one. And skin color has nothing to do with it. The "final airlift" of "Ethiopian Jews" happened years ago. Several times, even. Each time, some more crazy Americans scream: "Wait, there's another village that wants to be paid to move to Israel! And the people over the next hill want to move, too! And that tribe across the river - hey we can call them Jewish, too!" And on and on, so that the "final airlift" never happens, because some weird Americans are always redefining "Jewish" to suit their own tastes. If Americans have problems of conscience over their treatment of African slaves, they should deal with them instead of seeking ways for someone else to handle it for them.
