Is it possible for an army to destroy the roots of hatred against it's own country? ... No Lebanese are more educated than the rest of the Arab World. There is not only a single "ARAB"... But there are many kinds of them. The sunnite busyness man or the christian lawyer or the chiite farmer are very different from each other... A syrian soldier cannot be compared to a lebanese soldier. Etc... Don't let your short sighted way of thinking make it impossible for the moderate lebanese to" re" educate the chiit extremists. We know how to speak with those who go under islamists control. We know what to do to transform lebanon in a pacifist country. It's a long way, and no immediat results can be bought by brutal ways. If you destroy all the lebanese infrastructure and society. It would be impossible for those who call for peace to be heard. WE ARE YOUR BUFFER ZONE.
