At annual Super Bowl Sunday prayer event, held in Israel for the first time, women at the Western Wall rejoiced in the recent egalitarian win there. But some women consider it a loss.20:11 07.02.16 | 0 comments
Henry asks how can random matter becomes information, e.g. how can seemingly random "bits" become non-random without an intelligence to arrange them? The answer is: it happens *all the time*! Plants take co2, water and minerals, use the energy of sunlight and create complex bio-chemicals (themselves). The "random" co2 is converted into highly organized plant matter. But wait, you may argue, since the plants could have been "designed" there is still an original intelligence at work. Sorry, the famous miller experiement created amino acids out of simple gases. Or try Conways "game of life" on your computer. A random starting arrangment will inevitably form a more ordered pattern, simply by applying a few simple rules. Heck I can prove it with a shoebox and a few magnetic disks. Arrange disks randomly in box, close lid, shake box, open lid. If the discs are non-magnetic (say quarters) they will still be randomly arranged. But if they are magnetic (adding 1 simple rule), they will always be arranged as a neat stack or column. This simple experiment also effectively disproves the old creationist "probability" theory arguments. But don't just listen to me or take my results on faith, reproduce them yourselves and see what I'm talking about!
