Is Lieberman suggesting that the PM submit his final offer to the Palestinians to a vote before it has even been negotiated? or presented to Mitchell and the PA. And he is willing to submit his plan "B" to a vote before any negotiations with the Pal's? He is presenting his bottom line before negotiations, when Bibi hasn't presented any proposals on core issues to anyone. The sad fact, confirmed by the last 2 years, is that the Israeli bottom line is that the Palestinian bottom line, mostly '67 borders and E. Jerusalem, is irreconcilable with the Israeli bottom line, complete control of Jerusalem, and maintenance of settlements in the Palestinian state. If the Palestinians were able to offer that Israel would have peaceful relations with her neighbors and all Muslims forever, Israel would not budge from its bottom line as stated above. The only thing Lieberman's "proposal" will do is make this clear to everyone. I fear for the safety of all in the ME.
