    Honestly, I cannot tell you how many dozens or hundres died. I have even less of a clue as to how many were wounded or displaced. Same thing for the violence in Somolia. Zimbabuwae, likewise, no clue. As for places like China, which the state executes between 10,000 and 15,000 criminals annually, who knows, its a state secret. Iraq, I know a lot died, and I'm sure there was violence that killed people in Afghanistan too in fighting there. Closer to home, I have no idea how many died in the slums of Brazil this week. In fact, I probably couldn't even describe how many people were shot in either Los Angeles or right at home in New York City. There may be far fewer who died here than in the other places, but it didn't appear to hit the newswaves as well. I am more than willing to put up $100 or more on the basis that those posters on Ha'Aretz are equally clueless.
