It's funny how Haaretz tells us there is such a thing as Israeli, but at the same time says there is no such thing as Israeli-Arab. Haaretz refers to Arab citizens in Israel as Palestinian. It seems Haaretz is confused. Let me help them out. There is such a thing as Israeli, but Israeli culture is defined and shaped by the Jewishness of Israel and Israelis. One cannot separate the two. Being Jewish is the glue that holds our nation together. Our Arab brothers and sisters are citizens of Israel, but they do not want to be defined as Israeli. That identity is held by Jewish citizens of Israel.
