jack g indicates:"Many Palestinians are descendants of the first century Christians" Oh, are they? This is news to me. From my understanding of Arab populations in 'Palestine' at the time of the arrival of the first Zionists (1890's) -- the Arabs living in the western parts when the jews arrived among them, were mostly descendants of people who had themselves recently arrived in the area at the behest of the Turks (ottomans) from all over the mid-east. Only a few thousand individuals AT MOST were actually natives (indigenous) and of these, it is logical to assume that none at all were indigenous descendants going back farther than the time of the Arab conquests of the Omayyads! SO, your claim that they were progeny of "early First Century Christians" is hogwash. Really.
