Hamas may have told Israel it isn’t looking for another war in Gaza, but it’s clearly desperate to advance its attack tunnels. It’s also delighted to be sowing seeds of discontent and concern among the Israeli public.04:19 13.02.16 | 0 comments
How far do we go in clearing our cultural heritage for political correctness? Should we also put a ban on Dante's Inferno because it portrays Mohamed in hell? This is a tricky issue. Moreover, I don't believe that these old art pieces really contribute to racism or religious hatred. In The Netherlands a Muslim cleric said: "We Muslims should learn from the peaceful and dignified way the Christians reacted to the sacrilege by Madonna" (who had herself crucified as an act). Our way of coping with religious or racial tensions is much more important than these art pieces.
