Since last summers protests if your poor the message is I am oppressed by the evil tycoons but I wear it as a badge of honor because it shows I am one of the good guys. If your rich then your an evil oppressor and the noble poor people must bring them down. This idea of the working man and the evil rich might have been fine for the early 20th century but in the 21st century with its global economy it just doesn't work anymore, even communist China has become a prime example of capitalism. The evil tycoons who everybody hates to much are just businessmen who have earned their money through hard work and if they have money whats wrong with them spending it on multi million dollar apartments and fancy cars. In a free market why shouldn't Strauss be allowed to sell chocolate bars for more money in Israel than in the US, where is the law that says companies are not allowed to make a profit or making a profit is immoral in some way. If Israel is going to be part of the western word then the people must embrace capitalism and accept the old days of socialism when the country was young are gone now and not coming back because if we don't then Israel will not attract foreign investment and without foreign investment there will be even less money around. Time for Israelis to put the excitement of last summer behind them and rejoin the real world and accept there will be no return to old soclaist values.
